Technics SA-5070 stereo receiver
Classic 70's styling : there is an aesthetic for classic cars, furniture and clothes - you may just want the sound and functionality, but in your bedroom or retro sound system, good looks count as well. When not on, the tuning dial is light blue, but once on, the scale is lit in an attractive peach colour.
A generous power supply and good circuit design has resulted in these amplifiers lasting 30 years and still going strong
70's receivers had wooden sides as an option, quality knobs and a clean symmetry that is pleasant to the eye and in my opinion, receivers in this Technics range are design masterpieces. The SA-5070 provides plenty of current and so I think it behaves more like a 30W amplifier with deep bass content and high sound volume levels As well, the FM tuner has good reception quality and its analogue tuning control action is excellent
