Wharfedale use front and rear panels made from Audiostealth™ moulded rock polymer : one speaker has repairs to the front panel
This material is acoustically dead, and is isolated from the main cabinet body with compliant gaskets
The result? Lower cabinet vibrations mean lower levels of colouration, a cleaner sound and tighter, louder bass
Some cabinet damage from water on speaker bottoms, this may be improved in due course
