B&W DM610 speakers - black / grey : Introduced in 1991, the DM610 is known as the model that rebooted B&W’s reputation as a first-class maker of bookshelf / stand-mount speakers They were designed by the legendary Dr. Kenneth Grange who had a simple but challenging goal — to produce a speaker that would deliver music’s full spectrum from a relatively small box, precisely capturing the attack and transients of the original audio signal The DM610 got raves from audio critics, and it was the inspiration for the later DM602 and DM603 series
