NRP Studio 40 clone custom tower front speakers - rimu :
NRP Studio 40 clone speakers were constructed by modifying an existing 2-way custom speaker made from Image boxes, using Paradigm Studio 40 woofer and Vifa dome tweeter : they have no front grilles
With assistance from a Cameron Philips, an additional VIFA midrange with matching outer surround and new vent, with no grilles
A 3-way B&W 320 croosover was used, tweeter level matching 8.2ohm resistors added, extra cabinet damping, a custom midrange cover applied, vent length professionally assessed and vent length adjusted
This 3-way design is not yet analysed for frequency response, crossover points are 600Hz, 5KHz
