   B&W  LCR 3  centre  speaker
Light grey colour
2.1 vented design
Frequency response 80 - 20kHz 3dB,    -6dB points at 60Hz, 30kHz
Impedance : 8 ohms [3.3 ohms minium ] power rating : 25 - 100 watts on normal music input

The tweeter uses tapering tube loading, first used in the original Nautilus
This ensures far greater absorption of unwanted radiation away from the rear of the diaphragm and results in a cleaner, more focussed and natural high frequency sound. The twin bass / midrange drivers use cones of woven glass fibre, that function in a similar fashion to Kevlar

The crossover components use air core inductors for lowest distortion and plastic film capacitors for minimal signal degradation
The front baffle is molded in inert mica filled polypropylene, which has a subtly curved outline and is dimpled to echo the theme of Flowport at the back; itself elegantly combined with easy-access terminal panel that can accept all common terminations

The LCR 3 is magnetically shielded, which enables placement near a television
