   NAD are a leading producer of affordable amplifiers that produce the full measure of dynamic headroom required by digital recordings

   The “best buy” 2100 Power Amp is remarkable even by NAD’s standards : while its rated power for continuous test tones is 50 watts channel, it’s effective power output for music is an impressive 200 to 330 watts per channel (depending on speaker impedance).    Yet the 2100 has the same modest size and low price as other “50 watt” amplifiers with 40,000μF of power-supply capacitance, the 2100 delivers peak currents as high as 30 amperes to cope with the most complex and reactive loudspeaker impedances. In addition to power and control, the 2100 has delicacy : with a signal-to-noise ratio of 117 dB, it faithfully reproduces every subtle strand of low-level musical detail and back-ground ambience
