The digital output can be linked to any outside digital recorder, DAT, DCC or mini disc, or to a digital signal processor making the 517 ‘future proof’
The 517 is remarkably capable for its cost and the US journal ‘Stereophile’ said in April 1994 “You won’t do better for twice the money”
